Kiosk Mode
Set up a tablet at your venue as a walk-up photo booth. Fans tap the screen, a 3-2-1 countdown starts, the photo is taken, and it resets automatically. No phone needed.
Go to Dashboard > Fan Cams > Settings > Schedule tab. You'll see the "Photo Booth / Kiosk Mode" card with your unique kiosk URL.
Open the kiosk URL in Chrome or Safari on an iPad or Android tablet. Tap the browser's share button > "Add to Home Screen" to make it a full-screen app with no address bar.
Mount the tablet at eye level on a stand or tripod. Ensure good lighting — the front camera needs light for clear selfies. Place it where foot traffic flows naturally.
Screen shows "Tap to Start" with your branding and sponsors. Fan taps anywhere → 3-2-1 countdown with live camera preview → flash effect → "Photo Taken!" confirmation → auto-resets in 5 seconds.
Your logo, colours, sponsors, and photo frames appear automatically — same settings as your Appearance and Sponsors tabs. No separate configuration.
Kiosk photos appear in your moderation queue like any other selfie. Approve, reject, or let AI auto-moderation handle them.
No. Kiosk mode is entirely walk-up. Tap the screen and smile.
Kiosk mode skips the digital consent screen. You must have physical signage at the booth clearly stating consent terms.
Not currently — kiosk mode is designed for speed. For data collection, use the QR code flow which includes the consent screen with your custom form.
The screen shows "Oops! Upload failed" and resets after 5 seconds. Check your internet connection.
The "Tap to Start" screen stays up indefinitely. It shows your branding and sponsors as a passive display until someone taps.
