What is the Shopee Cup? The Shopee Cup is the ASEAN Club Championship, the top-tier club football competition in Southeast Asia featuring teams from 10 national leagues.
The competition draws clubs from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, and the wider region. High-attendance matches, strong broadcast coverage, and a growing commercial profile make it an ideal stage for new matchday activations.
02 / The activation
How Go Fan Cam ran at JDT and Selangor. Go Fan Cam ran at two Shopee Cup home matches: JDT vs Bangkok, and Selangor's home fixture. Pre-match and half-time windows, full club and sponsor branding.
Each club set up its own fan cam with its own QR code, its own admin login, and its own branded frame. Sponsor logos appeared on the fan phone screen, the photo frame, and the big screen. The admin at each venue moderated live during pre-match build-up and the half-time interval.
03 / The results
What the numbers showed. Over 1,000 unique fan photos across the two matches. Every photo moderated manually. Every sponsor logo surfaced in three places per frame.
Fan participation peaked in the 15 minutes before kick-off and during the first 10 minutes of the half-time interval. Admin approval rates stayed above 90% across both matches, with rejected photos limited to poorly framed selfies rather than inappropriate content.

How the production team ran it. Go Fan Cam output as a browser source URL, dropped into the venue production workflow. No extra hardware, no crew changes, no plugins.
The activation ran alongside the existing matchday production. The production team added the fan cam output to their big screen rotation and cued it for the pre-match and half-time windows. Total production setup time: under 15 minutes per venue.
