From Zero Fan Engagement to 1,800 Photos in One Season

Eastfield Town FC play in the Northern Premier League Division One, averaging around 420 fans per matchday. Before Go Fan Cam, the club relied on a PA announcer and a static scoreboard — no digital fan engagement and no way to prove sponsor value beyond a logo on the programme.

The Challenge

The club had no matchday digital activation at all. Their single LED screen showed the score and occasional adverts, but nothing interactive. Sponsors were asking for engagement metrics the club simply couldn't provide, and younger fans had little reason to arrive early or stay beyond the final whistle. Traditional fan cam setups were quoted at £800–£1,200 per match — completely out of reach for a semi-pro budget.

Go Fan Cam Setup

Eastfield chose the Starter plan at $89/month with one active link. Their volunteer media officer configured branding, uploaded the club crest and sponsor logos, and connected the browser source to their existing OBS setup that fed the LED screen. Total time from signup to first test: 22 minutes. On matchday, a QR code on the big screen and printed on the back of programmes let fans scan and snap from their seats.

Commercial Outcome

The club's main matchday sponsor renewed at a 30% uplift after seeing Go Fan Cam click-through data. A second sponsor signed specifically to appear on the fan cam frame, adding £2,400 to the club's annual commercial revenue.

We went from having nothing to offer sponsors beyond a logo in the programme, to handing them a PDF with real impressions and click-throughs. That's what got us the renewal at a higher rate.
